On Sunday, 8 March, the IATEFL BESIG Online Team invited everyone to our free March webinar with Chia Suan Chong to explore the intricacies of leadership and international communication.
In a globalized world where many are part of international teams, many of the students we train find themselves collaborating across cultures. They may be managing or are managed by people who have different ideas and expectations of their roles and they may have to negotiate a working style that is effective for everyone involved.
In this webinar, Chia considered different management styles, ways of giving and receiving feedback and the concept of managing up, and the intercultural elements that might frame expectations.
